Christian & Barton is pleased to announce that it has successfully negotiated a local performance agreement on behalf of our client that will require a minimum of $100 billion of capital investment over a 30-year period and bring a minimum of 2,500 jobs to Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The firm represented the Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority in the deal with a Stack Infrastructure affiliate.
This latest success is now the largest economic development deal in southern Virginia history. Christian & Barton also led the second and third largest deals in the area, which brought major investments from Microporous, LLC in 2024, and Avio USA, Inc. earlier this year.
The project will be located in the Authority’s Southern Virginia Megasite at Berry Hill in Pittsylvania County.
The Christian & Barton team was led by partner Michael C. Guanzon, chair of the firm’s Business Law department, and Steven W. Lippman, counsel.
