Broadbent Reappointed to War of 1812 Commission

Peter E. Broadbent Jr. has been reappointed to the Virginia Bicentennial of the American War of 1812 Commission. The Commission’s task is to prepare for and commemorate the bicentennial anniversary of Virginia’s participation in the American War of 1812.

Broadbent was reappointed by William J. Howell, Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. He was first appointed to the Commission in 2008 as one of two non-legislative members.

Broadbent is a partner at Christian & Barton. He focuses his legal practice on communications, intellectual property, legislative advocacy and cable television matters.  He is also a director and officer of the Society of the War of 1812 in Virginia. (June 2010)
