Five Christian & Barton attorneys were named to the 2009 Virginia Rising Stars list, an annual recognition by Virginia Super Lawyers & Rising Stars magazine.
They include Christopher M. Gill (Real Estate); Megan Martz Gilliland (Business/Corporate); R. Braxton Hill IV (Business Litigation); Edward B. Lumpkin (Business/Corporate); and Jennifer M. McLemore (Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights).
“We’re proud of their accomplishments, and it is an honor for the firm that several of our young lawyers have been recognized,” said J. Edward Betts, managing partner at Christian & Barton.
According to Law & Politics, publishers of the Super Lawyers magazines nationwide, the annual recognition list is a result of a selection system that includes a statewide survey of attorneys, research and peer evaluation. (June 2009)
