Bio:

Michael J. Quinan serves as vice chair of the firm's Energy group and practices principally in the areas of business litigation and public utility regulation. He regularly handles cases at the Virginia State Corporation Commission and in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Tennessee, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and the Western Districts of Virginia, and the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee.

Mr. Quinan was a partner in Woods Rogers PLC from 1993 until 2004.  In 1996, he moved from that firm's main office in Roanoke to open a branch office in Richmond.  He had previously worked as an associate attorney at Woods Rogers and at Stewart, Estes & Donnell, an insurance defense litigation firm in Nashville, Tennessee.
