Michael L. Soffin’s primary areas of practice have been in real estate, commercial and corporate law.  His representation of airport, theatre and department store clients has involved extensive work in real estate acquisition, development and financing, including shopping center projects.  Mr. Soffin’s finance-related experience includes representation of institutional investors in real estate-related construction and permanent lending and asset acquisition.

Representative Matters

  • Representation of a major regional department store chain in acquisition, development and sale/leaseback financing of multiple regional mall locations in the Southeast.
  • Representation of regional theatre chains in their acquisition, leasing, financing and sales of theatre properties and radio stations.
  • Representation of major institutional lenders in both construction and permanent financing of diverse commercial projects.
